  • Co-op Opportunities
In your last year of undergraduate studies, apply to participate in co-op during your MBA. Gain career-relevant experience in the business sector through 8 months of co-op work experience.

Bachelor's Degree + MBA Structure

Apply to one program and graduate with two degrees with this multi-degree pathway.

What is the Science Degree (BA, BSc or BKin) and MBA Program?

If you're successful in your application to the Science Degree (BA, BSc or BKin) and MBA program, you'll receive two conditional offers of admission:

  • One to undergraduate studies (BA, BSc or BKin); and
  • One to a Master of Business Administration (MBA)

This means that if you decide to continue your studies at the graduate level, you don’t need to apply to the master's program at Laurier because you’ve already received a conditional offer of admission. As long as you meet your progression requirements, you will begin your master's program after you graduate from your BA or BSc degree program.

Co-op allows you to integrate your classroom learning with practical experience in your field of study. The Lazaridis School of Business and Economics co-op program is the largest of its kind in Canada and has earned a 95% employment rate for many years now.

All Science Degree (BA, BSc or BKin) + Master of Business Administration (MBA) students have the option to apply for the co-op stream as part of their graduate degree experience. Co-op in the MBA program is competitive, and students apply in their final year of undergraduate studies.

Most MBA co-op students will earn eight months of paid work experience that will provide an invaluable addition to your resumé and give you the insights needed to help you make the right choices for your career path. Students not selected for co-op will be able to continue in the full-time MBA program.
