Admission to our Faculty of Education is based on your academic achievement and on information submitted in your experience profile. If you’re applying to the junior/intermediate French teachable, you’ll also complete an onsite French proficiency assessment.
Once you apply, you’ll receive a confirmation email containing information about your LORIS (Laurier's Online Registration and Information System) account. LORIS is our primary point of contact with you. Use LORIS to view your list of required documents to complete your application. If you apply to more than one program, you only need to send one copy of your required documents.
You will receive an admission decision on each program (Primary/Junior or Junior/Intermediate) that you apply to in Laurier's Faculty of Education. If you apply to more than one teachable (Junior/Intermediate), you will receive an admission decision on your top choice teachable.
Feb. 1, 2021 will be the earliest date to receive an offer of admission. Log into your LORIS account to view the decision made on your Bachelor of Education application. Laurier does not mail offers of admission. You will be able to access your offer of admission letter in your LORIS account.
If you receive an offer of admission, your offer letter will indicate:
