Review the application checklist and deadlines and ensure that your documents are received by the posted deadline. Laurier will not assess your application if documents are received past the posted deadline.
In your applicant portal, you will find a list of documents we require for your application. The list also allows you to confirm when we have received your documents. Laurier does not confirm the receipt of documents by phone or email.
*You can access your applicant portal after receiving a welcome email from our Admissions team that contains your login information.
You must upload your university transcripts in your applicant portal by the posted deadline. If you are a current or past Laurier student, you must also upload your transcripts to your applicant portal.
If you receive an offer of admission, you must provide official documents to keep your offer. You can request that they are sent through the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (OUAC) or request that your university sends them directly to Laurier. If you are a current or past Laurier student, you must request to have your transcript sent to Admissions. We do not receive your transcripts automatically.
If you are a Junior/Intermediate (J/I) applicant taking courses for your teachable subject requirements in the fall term, you may be contacted at the beginning of January to submit another unofficial transcript by January 10, 2026 that shows your updated grade information.
If you attended a university on an international exchange or Letter of Permission, you must provide an official transcript from the institution(s) you attended by the posted deadline. You may also be asked to submit course descriptions or an academic calendar from those institution(s) to Laurier.
Do not send secondary school or CEGEP transcripts as they are not evaluated. Community college transcripts are evaluated, with the exception of college/applied degrees, which are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
