Join us at Laurier

Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

COVID-19 Update

Due to the on-going concerns surrounding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the Department of Athletics & Recreation has made the difficult decision to cancel all summer camp programming (including all sport-specific and high-performance camps) effective immediately. Registrants will be contacted to arrange a refund over the next several weeks.

We know how much children look forward to their summer camp experience and how important this support is to families. We appreciate your understanding.  We appreciate your understanding.  We look forward to welcoming your children back to Laurier Golden Hawk Summer camps in the future.

Laurier Athletics Camps

Laurier Waterloo has designed a variety of recreational camps that foster leadership through athletics. Basketball, hockey and soccer camps provide young athletes with an opportunity to improve their skills in a fun and challenging atmosphere. For those who love the water, we offer an action-packed aquatic junior lifeguard camp where campers will develop their swimming skills in an energetic learning environment.

Summer Fun 101

Laurier Brantford’s Summer Fun 101 offers eight, one-week sessions with instruction in a wide variety of education sport activities including: the mystical world of medieval times, arcade adventures and a super hero training camp. Participants will embark on elaborate day trips and attend a pizza party movie night — just a few of the reasons campers return year after year.

Junior Golden Hawks Programs

Junior Golden Hawks Programs aim to provide role models for youth in the community. Participants will attend a football, hockey or basketball game to watch and interact with varsity athletes. There is also an opportunity for participants to sing the national anthem at the opening ceremony of a Laurier Golden Hawk game.
