Join us at Laurier

Being a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

The generous scope of our Bachelor of Music program allows for a Performance concentration, which provides a strong base for those who wish to become professional performers, while our Music Theory, Music Education, Music History, Comprehensive and Composition/Composition-Improvisation concentrations establish a secure knowledge from which you can build an innovative career.

Our Bachelor of Music Therapy program, the only one in Ontario, teaches you the musical and therapeutic process for a variety of client populations.

We limit enrolment to 350 to 400 undergraduate students – a number that is small enough to give you ready access to your instructors, yet large enough to have a full symphony orchestra, three choirs, wind orchestra, an opera program and baroque, wind, jazz, percussion, contemporary and other music ensembles.
