Nov. 14, 2025
Print | PDFSaturday, Nov.15 is National Philanthropy Day – a day to show gratitude for the positive impact Laurier donors have on students’ lives.
“It gives me a tremendous sense of belonging to know that Laurier donors care about my success and wellbeing,” says Mannat, a class of 2026 student. “It has a huge impact on my student experience and makes Laurier feel like home.”
Donors make a difference in every Laurier student’s story, supporting scholarships and bursaries that ease the financial pressure of student life; athletics and student wellness programs that help students maintain balance and good mental health during a busy academic schedule; and campus improvements that provide beautiful learning environments. Student emergency funds, which are 100% donor-supported, help students overcome financial crises.
“I’m so thankful for everything Laurier donors make possible for students like me,” says Mannat. “Your generosity and support make us proud to be part of the Laurier community.”
