Laurier Supports its Communities
Laurier excels at creating a culture of community engagement. The Government and Community Relations team works with campus partners to identify and build enriching partnerships with community organizations and local, provincial, and federal government officials.
United Way
For more than 30 years, Laurier staff, faculty and retirees have banded together to support our communities through Brant United Way and United Way Waterloo Region. Laurier's partnership with United Way helps foster positive community relations, providing a big impact on individuals accessing these services.
Canadian Blood Services
Laurier has joined forces with Canadian Blood Services as a Partner for Life. Every calendar year Laurier makes a pledge of blood donations. Since joining the program in 2010, Laurier has contributed more than 2,500 blood donations.

Duplicate Degrees
Do you need another copy of your degree/diploma, whether because of loss, damage, name change, or because you're applying to a job or educational program that requires an official copy? You can get one by filling out the Duplicate or Replacement Degree form, paying the $35 fee and submitting it to Enrolment Services.Requests for Proposals / Tenders

Contractor Safety
Laurier is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace for all of its employees, students and visitors. To fulfil this commitment, the university must ensure that all contractors and sub-contractors are meeting or exceeding the requirements and standards of health, safety and environmental legislation. Laurier's Contract Labour Policy and Contract Labour Program must be followed by all contractors prior to initiating work at Laurier.
Contract Labour Program / Contract Labour Policy
All construction activities must be carried out safely and in compliance with the provincial Occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations. Laurier has developed a Contract Labour Policy for all employees that are hiring contractors to follow.
Advance planning and quality site preparations are important for a safer, environmentally conscious, well-organized construction site. The Contract Labour Program applies to all contractors, general contractors and subcontractors that provide services to Laurier. Laurier’s Contract Labour Program outlines the specific requirements and documentation needed for contractors prior to beginning work at Laurier.
In order to be approved for work at Laurier, all applicable documents outlined in the Contract Labour Program must be received by the Laurier project administrator and considered acceptable with respect to the specific project. The project administrator will review the documents taking into account the scope of the intended work.
The project administrator will consult with Laurier's Safety, Health, Environment and Risk Management (SHERM) office as required. All documentation must be valid for the duration of the project or must be resubmitted. Should the scope of the project change, a review of the submitted contract labour documentation should be conducted by the Laurier project administrator to ensure it is acceptable.

A Contractor Safety Guidelines booklet is provided to contractors to inform them of Laurier's safety requirements.
