This program is for university students who are studying business or who have an interest in international business, and for working professionals who want to improve their English. You'll study at Laurier for four weeks to improve your English-language skills while focusing on business through site visits to international companies such as SunLife Financial, Apotex Pharmaceuticals, and Toyota, one-on-one engagement with your business professors, and classes on business culture and other key skills required in today’s international business environment. There are also networking opportunities with other students in the program and local business leaders.
The LEAF Business English Program provides you with the opportunity to improve your English, meet people from around the world, focus on concepts in international business, and take classes on business culture and other key areas required in today’s international business environment. You’ll do site visits and have the opportunity to network with local business leaders. While in Brantford, you'll study with Laurier's School of Business and Economics professors as well as the LEAF Program's experienced English instructors.
