Join us at Laurier

Being a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

When you have chosen the program you want to apply to, and you are interested in applying to Laurier only, you can apply online through our International Application website. This option will allow you to apply for up to 3 Laurier programs. Or, if you wish to apply to Laurier and other Ontario universities at the same time, you can apply through the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (OUAC) using the 105F application form.

Applying to Laurier Only

If you apply through our International Application website, you will be transferred to the OUAC website where you will complete and submit your application. Wilfrid Laurier University has contracted OUAC to provide application processing services. To begin the application process, you will be required to create an OUAC account (if you do not already have one). You may have only one OUAC account. Direct any application process questions to the OUAC.

Applying to LEAF

If you don’t meet Laurier’s English language proficiency requirements, you can apply to our LEAF program the same time you apply to a program.

If you’re applying to Laurier through our International Application website, check the "LEAF" option. If you’re applying through the OUAC website, download the application form from the LEAF website and follow the instructions on the form.

Application Deadlines

We encourage you to apply as soon as possible to allow enough time for processing and for you to obtain your study permit. Please be advised that spaces in our LEAF program are limited.

Applications and copies of required documents for September (fall-term) entry should be received by May 1. If you are interested in January admission, check the OUAC website at the end of October for program and space availability.

Release of Information

If you are a student and you would like to grant consent for the release of information regarding your application to a third party (such as a parent or guardian), you must submit an authorization of information release form.
