Laurier Academy of Music and Arts is excited to present HOLIDAY-themed visual arts workshops for families, kids, and adults. Feather macrame, mosaics, and ornaments are fun to make, and a keepsake for years to come. Come and create at LAMA this season! All visual arts workshops will be led by Selda Sezen, Art Director.

Air-Dry Clay (Build) - Families

Sculpt and shape unique creations using air-dry clay in this fun, hands-on session. Participants will learn techniques to create Christmas-themed ornaments and candle holders, making it a perfect holiday activity for the whole family. This is a 2-week session. You will build your sculpture the first week, and paint it the second week.

Mosaic Projects - Families

Create stunning mosaic lamps, shadowboxes, candle holders, or coasters using an array of multi-media materials. No visual arts experience is necessary, and all materials will be provided for this creative session.

Macrame or Christmas Garland - All invited

Choose your own adventure! You can either craft elegant macrame snowflakes and Christmas trees in the colors of your choice, or build a garland using eco-friendly cotton strings. Design and build a stunning garland using eco-friendly cotton strings. Create charming cotton balls, stars, Christmas trees, and heart shapes for a decoration that can brighten your home throughout the year on special occasions and celebrations, including the Christmas season. Perfect as a thoughtful gift or to enhance your festive decor!

No prior art experience is needed, and all materials will be provided to help you create beautiful, handmade decorations.
