Chamber Music and Ensemble Performing Arts Camp

The Beckett School at Laurier is pleased to introduce our first summer camp dedicated entirely to group music making! Participants will be placed instrumental duos, trios, quartets, and quintets and will be assigned repertoire based on their instrument and level.

• Dates: Aug. 8 to 12, 2022
• Times: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. (see below for schedule)
• Location: 190 Lester Street, Waterloo
• Cost: $200 plus any afternoon add-on programs

Schedule (Aug. 8 to 12)

• 9 to 10 a.m. - Group coaching
• 10 to 10:15 a.m. - Break
• 10:15 to 11 a.m. - Individual coaching
• 11 to noon - Group coaching
• noon to 1 p.m. - Lunch

*Afternoon sessions available as add-ons

The camp includes:

• Daily individual coaching
• Intensive chamber coaching
• Performance opportunities
• Group music-making fun!

Camp Tracks:

Camp participants can register for one of the following camp tracks. Each track is $200:

Chamber Camp Performance Track

This track includes:

• String trios and quartets
• Music for strings and piano
• Music for winds, brass, and piano
• Music ensembles for woodwinds and/or brass

Piano Ensemble Performance Track

This track includes:

• Piano duets, trios and quartets

Adult Chamber Music Performance Track (18+)

This track includes:

• String trios and quartets
• Music for strings and piano
• Music ensembles for woodwinds and brass
• Piano duets and quartets

Add-on Afternoon Seminars

Participants can add-on one or more of the sessions below (so long as they don't have conflicting times).
