I hope you are enjoying your first several weeks of the term. We are excited to welcome you to our community! Whether you are learning virtually or in-person; whether you have been taking lessons for 30 years or 30 days – Welcome!
I have had the pleasure of teaching and working at the Beckett School at Laurier (BSL) as a piano instructor and music therapist since 2014. I became the Acting Director of the BSL in February 2021 and consider it an absolute honour to work with some of the best instructors and musicians in the business and to see first-hand the talent, growth, and pure joy that all our students display on stage, in the music studio, and in our community.
Thank you to all our parents and students for your patience and perseverance as we have gradually re-opened our studio doors, and for abiding by all our COVID-related policies, developed to keep everyone safe!
Thank you for joining us this season and I wish you a joy-filled year ahead of learning and sharing music!
