Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

I hold a Bachelor of Music (BMus) from McGill University.
I have been a member of the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony since 1983. Over the years, I have played numerous solo and chamber music recitals.
I have been teaching at the Beckett School at Laurier since 2004. I have also held positions at the University of Guelph and the University of Waterloo. I have served as an adjudicator at many festivals and competitions. Many of my students have won prizes, scholarships and awards at various festivals and competitions.
I have always greatly enjoyed teaching. I believe everyone has the potential to sound their best at whatever level or age they are.
