As a theatre professional since 1996, I have had the pleasure of performing, directing, writing, lecturing, teaching, role coaching, mentoring, and producing in that time. I work mostly with staged works in opera, musical theatre, and cabaret. My private studio is home (online and in person) to emerging and established performers who are actively performing and auditioning in Canada, New York City, and the UK. I am a teaching artist at the Canadian Opera Company, and am honoured to be a frequent leader, clinician, and adjudicator at various events and institutions.

Teaching, coaching. and directing are a joy and a privilege to me. I exist in and encourage a growth mindset. My approach champions curiosity, empathy, connection, spontaneity, and playfulness, with the discovery of options and efficiencies in technique (rehearsal of planned coordination) leading to freedom of expression and fulfilling performances. There is a lot of trust involved in this process and I am grateful to each person who explores their artistry with me.
