I am a Kitchener-Waterloo native and earned a Bachelor of Music Degree in Piano Performance at Laurier studying with Heather Taves. I pursued further studies with Manuel Schweizer at the Conservatoire de Lyon, David Jalbert at uOttawa (MMus), and Stéphan Sylvestre at Western University (DMA).
As a coach and collaborative pianist at Laurier I work with violin students, Concert Choir, and Laurier Singers. I cherish opportunities for variety in my musical journey, and have worked professionally as a pianist, vocal coach, chamber musician, teacher, and conductor. I previously held teaching positions at Western University (Professor of Piano) and The Glenn Gould School (Opera Music Director & Conductor).
