Print | PDFHelp us in congratulating our Master of Music Therapy student, Tian Ip, who received support towards her research from the Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario and a generous Mitacs graduate scholarship of $20,000.
Tian is working on a research project that uses improvised music to measure the motor and cognitive abilities of people with Parkinson’s Disease. She combines the expertise of her supervisor, Dr. Demian Kogutek, and her own skills in audio engineering to create a novel assessment tool for music therapists.
We are proud of Tian and wish her all the best in his project!
