Print | PDFPianist, cellist, and recreational trombonist, Sam Domzella is currently in his second year at Wilfrid Laurier University, studying with Anya Alexeyev in pursuit of a degree in piano performance. He was not particularly fond of the piano when he first started, but he began to enjoy it at the age of 9, after he won his first scholarship at the local Kiwanis Music Festival. His life in music has been guided by his teachers, family, and friends both within WLU and without, who continue to be an inspiration to him. Along with solo performance, he greatly enjoys chamber playing, having had the good fortune to perform with several of his fellow students throughout the past year. He is incredibly grateful to WLU and the orchestra for allowing him to make his orchestral debut with them, a milestone made extra special by getting to do it alongside his peers.
