Kai Rousseau hails from Toronto and is currently a second-year violinist, majoring in Music Performance. He began his music career at the age of four with the Etobicoke Suzuki Music School. Kai wanted to learn to play violin at an early age, which began a lifelong love of classical music. Kai has been a member of quite a few orchestras such as the Mooredale Symphony Orchestra under the direction of William Rowson, he was concert Master for the Mississauga Symphony Youth Orchestra and is also one of the youngest members of the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Denis Mastromonaco. Kai was the winner of the Ken Murray Entrance Scholarship in 2020, the Laurier Concerto Competition in 2020-21, and was also a member of the 2021 National Youth Orchestra.
