The Improvisation Concerts Ensemble (ICE) is directed by Dr. Kathryn Ladano and focuses on developing skills in improvisation. The ensemble works on improvising in a variety of styles through the use of performance concepts and building of musical and listening skills. Each year the ensemble produces two full-length formal concerts (one at the end of each term). The concepts for these concerts are slowly developed throughout the year through the collaborative work of the ensemble and the instructor.
