Print | PDFDaniella Kistemaker is a classical and contemporary harpist based in Guelph who regularly performs across Ontario, currently in her final year of harp performance at Laurier, studying with Lori Gemmell. She currently holds an ARCT in harp performance from RCM, which she achieved in 2017. She also won the ORMTA provincial competitions in 2014 and 2016, for Grade 10 and diploma harp respectively. Most recently, she won the 2022 Ken Murray Concerto Competition, and will be performing the Concertino for Harp and Orchestra, movement 1, by Tailleferre, with the KWS in April 2023. In addition to solo performance, she also performs in chamber ensembles, orchestras, such as the Laurier Symphony Orchestra and as a substitute in the opening concert of the 2022-23 season for the Guelph Symphony Orchestra, choirs and opera.
