Program Notes:
Reveries and Elegies:
The classical guitar is a deeply intimate instrument that specializes in portraying the most vulnerable human emotions. This concert will feature several works for guitar from the Renaissance to the 21st Century which explore the depths of human sorrow and resilience, as we emerge from the collective trauma of this pandemic into a brave new world where sincere human contact and expression is needed more than ever.
