Block Transfer Agreement: Health-Related Diploma Programs

Students enrolling in Laurier’s Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Community Health program after completing a two- or three-year health-related diploma program may earn up to 6.0 or 7.5 transfer credits (respectively). The specific transfer credits granted will be determined based on your unique academic journey and outlined in a transfer credit assessment that you will receive along with your offer letter.

Throughout your Health Studies degree, you will take courses in topics such as Canadian health care systems, health policy, biostatistics and health and nutrition. Once you have accepted your offer, please consult Academic Advising and our Course Registration Guide to determine the specific courses you'll need to take during your time at Laurier.

If you are transferring from a non-health diploma program or a university program, your academic history will be individually evaluated and optimal transfer credits granted, as appropriate. Please note there may be more required courses (and possibly fewer electives) for you to complete than outlined above.
