Join us at Laurier

Being a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

Business Administration (BBA) and Financial Mathematics (BA)

Earn a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Financial Mathematics in five years. In this demanding double-degree program, you’ll learn to work in teams tackling real-world business problems.

In your mathematics courses, you’ll build the quantitative expertise needed to analyze risk in business and industry. You’ll understand the theory and the methods that are essential to succeed in the financial sector.

In business courses, you will learn about internal and external business structures and processes and the skills needed to manage them. You’ll leave with the mastery of business practices and the knowledge it takes to manage complex modern financial instruments and generate resources.

This unique combination of technical and practical skills is highly sought after by employers.

As a student in this program, you’ll be automatically entered into Canada’s largest business degree co-op program, where you’ll gain 12-16 months of practical work experience.

Note: If you apply and do not meet the requirements for our double-degree program, you’ll automatically be considered for an alternate offer to our Business Administration or Financial Mathematics programs.
