PhD in Management, Accounting
I chose to pursue my PhD at Lazaridis School of Business and Economics as the graduate program provided me with the opportunity to focus my learning and research on behavioural accounting. Moreover, having other students that I can collaborate with in a welcoming environment makes this journey more enjoyable. My decision to join the Laurier team was also inspired by the welcoming and caring professors at Laurier, who are also excited about research.
My research primarily relies on social psychology to investigate individuals' judgement and decision maing. Currently, I examine judgement and decision making within the context of taxpayers.
My goal is to pursue high-quality research alongside other research-focused faculty, as a faculty member in accounting. I am also excited to share my knowledge with other accounting students as the field of accouting continues to expand.
