PhD in Management, Financial Economics
Back in high school, I was good at math, so I studied electrical engineering at the prestigious Shahid Beheshti University in Iran. Although the MBA entrance exam is the most competitive Master's entrance exam in Iran, I chose to pursue my MBA and finished it at Amir Kabir University. In both my Bachelor's and Master's entrance exams, my score was among the top one percent.
First of all, Laurier has a small and focused PhD program, which provides me with the opportunity to learn profoundly. Laurier also has numerous professors with different research interests which helps me to have a wider choice to choose the subject I love the most as my dissertation. And last but not least, Laurier has a good reputation, which will help me when I’m on the job market!
