PhD in Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management
I chose Laurier for several reasons, including school culture, graduate funding, research fit, and location. Not to mention the ratio of students to faculty in the graduate program is relativelty high compared to similar programs in the area so mentorship is very accessible.
I'm broadly interested in the use of psychometrics in personnel selection. Much of my work so far has focused on applicant faking behaviours and methods to prevent it.
I hope to work in academia as a professor alongside consulting to keep my research relevant to practitioners in an effort to address the research practice gap in this field.
