PhD in Management, Accounting
I chose Laurier because of its excellent academic atmosphere and welcoming environment. The university offers multidimensional support essential for my academic success and provides a nurturing space where students can grow and develop.
My current research focuses on how common institutional investors shape the dissemination of information between firms in both the capital and debt markets. As institutional ownership grows, an increasing number of firms share common investors. My work investigates whether these ownership links serve as information cross-points that enhance the efficiency of information exchange across multiple dimensions.
I am aiming for a tenure-track faculty position at a research-oriented institution, where I hope to work with an outstanding team of scholars and inspire students in their accounting studies.
