PhD in Management, Accounting
After an incredible BBA and MBA experience, it felt right for me to continue my postsecondary journey here. Having gained exposure to the research environment at Laurier, I knew it was home to the best academic resources and top researchers in the field. In addition, the warm and supportive culture Laurier embraces is a leading contributor to its exceptional academic community. I receive training through a personalized approach that aligns with my research needs and interests. Laurier enables introverts like me to build and leverage strong relationships with colleagues, staff, as well as faculty in achieving academic success.
I am pursuing empirical archival research in topics of personal finance and taxation. I also seek to understand taxpayer decisions using theoretical insights from psychology and behavioural economics.
I am interested in conducting research and teaching on a full-time basis as a university professor. I aspire to make original contributions to academic literature while inspiring the future generation of students and researchers.
