Co-op for Business Administration (BBA) and Economics (BA) Students

While completing a degree in Business or Economics, your extensive knowledge of business fundamentals, innovative business practices, and case-based learning opportunities will make you an experienced graduate and an asset to the modern industry.

During your co-op work terms, you will learn to challenge assumptions, communicate effectively, think critically and work cooperatively.

How Business and Economics Co-op Works

Co-op gives you the opportunity to develop skills and gain real-world experience while completing paid work terms lasting 12 to 16 weeks.

You apply for admission to co-op in first year and may be eligible for an admission interview early in your second year.

If you are admitted to co-op, you will get assistance with career planning, job search and interview preparation through the Fundamentals of Co-operative Education course. You will then apply to job postings and attend interviews.

Course Sequencing

Co-op students in Business or Economics will complete three four-month work terms, or one work term of eight months and one of four months.
