WATERLOO — June marks National Indigenous History Month, a time to honour and celebrate the histories, cultures and contributions of Indigenous peoples. Wilfrid Laurier University offers access to experts who can speak on a wide range of topics related to National Indigenous History Month, including history, education, rights and laws, food and water security, governance, environment, spirituality, culture, identity and decolonization.
The following list highlights Laurier experts currently available for comment though it does not reflect the full range of expertise across the university.
