WATERLOO — World Autism Awareness Day takes place on April 2. This year marks the 18th anniversary of the United Nations General Assembly designating the day to promote the human rights and fundamental freedoms of autistic individuals.
Wilfrid Laurier University experts are available to discuss autism and autism-related topics, including caregiver experiences and service access barriers, among others.
