WATERLOO – Members of the news media are welcome to attend Wilfrid Laurier University’s sixth annual Empty Bowls charity event, May 12 at 11:30 a.m. Empty Bowls is a long-running annual fundraiser for The Food Bank of Waterloo Region, spearheaded by the Waterloo Potters' Workshop.

Bowls created by the Waterloo Potters’ Workshop will be available for viewing on the main floor of the John Aird Centre, from May 9-11, noon to 3 p.m.

WHEN: Thursday, May 12, from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

WHERE: Wilfrid Laurier University, Waterloo campus, Senate & Board Chamber.
