Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

WATERLOO – Wilfrid Laurier University is pleased to report that CUPE Local 926 members ratified the tentative agreement that was reached by the two parties on July 15, 2016. The union represents approximately 110 custodial, grounds and trades employees at Laurier’s Waterloo campus and Kitchener location.

The university will recall striking workers back to work on their next scheduled shift as per the return-to-work protocols.

The agreement will be put to Laurier’s Board of Governors for ratification later this week. Details of the agreement will be disclosed once ratified by both parties.
