Print | PDFDid you log in to your Laurier applicant portal expecting to check for updates - maybe about your application or an offer of admission - but… you can’t get in?
Take a breath. You’re not the only student running into this right now, and in most cases the fix is actually pretty quick! Most login issues we’re seeing are connected to Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and small issues that can be resolved in a few minutes.
To help you get back into your portal, we’ve pulled together answers to the most common questions our teams are receiving.
First things first...
We updated the Laurier applicant portal on February 23, so make sure you’re accessing the most recent version of the portal link. If you’re using an old bookmark or saved page, try accessing the portal directly from the link in your Laurier emails instead.
Our team isn’t able to reset passwords or authentication apps for students directly, but you can easily do this yourself using Laurier’s Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) tool. This tool allows you to:
You can access it from any device, anytime, anywhere. If additional help is needed after trying the tool, the ICT Service Desk can assist further.
If your login details aren’t working or your phone number has changed, you may need to reset your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). The quickest solution is to use the MFA Self-Service Reset Portal. The system will ask you a few security questions and if answered correctly, will allow you to set up new authentication methods.
