Look into Laurier

Join us at Laurier

Being a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

Join us Wednesday, March 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for our March Break Open House on the Brantford campus.

What You Can Do at Open House

Open House is one of the best times to visit campus! Our students, staff and faculty are all looking forward to meeting you and answering any questions you have about university and what our Brantford campus has to offer.

  • Explore our residence buildings, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.: The doors are open, and our current residents will take the time to show you our apartment-style residence options at four of our residence locations.
  • Attend our information fair, noon to 2 p.m.: Speak with representatives from Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Affairs, the Students' Union, and faculty members who are here to help make your decision easier. The information fair will be located at the Research and Academic Building.
  • Get involved in open house sessions: Faculty and students will help to explain our programs, and answer all of your important questions. We're also offering a workshop on how to make the transition to university along with financial aid information.

We have arranged for all of our guests to enjoy free parking at this location during Open House event. When you arrive at one of our tour stations, located in the Carnegie Building and Research and Academic Centre West Building, we will provide you a complimentary parking pass, which can be given to the parking attendant when you leave the parkade. You can also print the voucher at home ahead of time and bring it with you.

There will be volunteers and signage to direct you to and from the Parkade and throughout various checkpoints across campus.
