Join us at Laurier

Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

Our Waterloo campus Tour+ Day is Saturday, May 26, 2018, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

You can enjoy any portion of the events offered during Tour+. You’ll get a great taste of our vibrant campus life while learning about residence, student support services, financial aid opportunities, your program of interest and what it’s like to be a Laurier Golden Hawk. You may just meet your future classmates too!

We recommend that you register to receive advance information and reminders about the event. The registration page will say your tour time is 9 a.m.; however, tours are running throughout the day. By registering, you’re letting us know that you’re attending Tour+.

Make the Most of Your Day

  • Register in advance to receive email reminders and updates before the event.
  • We encourage you to schedule your day around your faculty presentation (see times below) to learn more about your program, as it’s only offered at one time. Campus and residence tours are offered throughout the day, so you can jump on one of those at any time. We also have a Student Experience Fair you won’t want to miss!
  • Find directions to our Waterloo campus and where to park. We have several free and nearby off-campus parking lots for campus visitors to use during Tour+.
  • Wear comfortable shoes and check the weather before you leave.
  • Grab an event flyer that contains the event schedule and a campus map when you arrive.

Parking is free for our Tour+ visitors. See below for important details on parking and a link to our custom Google Map, which can help you get to a parking spot faster.

Central Parking

Our central campus parking is limited and is usually full by 10 a.m. We strongly advise you to drive directly to an event parking lotIf you arrive at the main entrance, located at 75 University Avenue West, and our central campus lots are full, you will need to complete a loop of campus before exiting to one of our designated parking lots. To avoid this, proceed directly to one of our event parking lots where volunteers will direct you to main campus.

Using Our Custom Google Map

Our event parking map works best in the Google Maps mobile app. If on a web browser, Google Maps asks you to log in to view the map, try opening the link in a new browser or use your phone to access the map.

Accessible Parking

If you require accessible parking, please come to Mid Campus Drive at 75 University Avenue West where parking staff will direct you to accessible parking on main campus.
