Temporary Closure of Chancellors Drive and FNCC Loading Dock – June 23 and June 24, 2026

Please note that the initial phase of delivery of the air handling units for the Fred Nichols Campus Centre (FNCC) is scheduled for Tuesday, June 23 and Wednesday, June 24, 2026.

As a result, the following restrictions and closures will be in place on those days:

Tuesday, June 23, 2026 (Closure areas outlined in red on the map below)

• Chancellor Dr. will be closed and reserved for contractor deliveries only.
  Access to Parking Lot #1 via Chancellor Dr. will be maintained during this period.
• A small portion of Gold Permit Parking Lot #1 along Chancellor Dr. will be closed and reserved for contractor delivery trucks.

Wednesday, June 24, 2026 (Closure areas outlined in gold on the map below)

• The FNCC loading dock area will be blocked off to accommodate contractor activities.
• The exterior courtyard between the Solarium and FNCC will be closed. All building exits leading into the courtyard will be restricted and should be used for emergency purposes only.
• The exterior staircase between the parking Lot #42 in front of the Dr. Alvin Woods Building (DAWB) and the FNCC loading dock area will be closed.
• A small section of the Accessible Parking Lot #42 in front of the DAWB will be unavailable. During this time, the bike racks in front of the DAWB will also be inaccessible. The remainder of Lot 42 will remain open and accessible throughout this period.
• Building access to DAWB will be maintained throughout this period.
