Fire Alarm Testing at Arts E - Tuesday, October 14, 2025

Please be advised that the University's annual fire alarm inspections will be taking place this week in the following buildings:
Arts E on Tuesday, October 14th
This work will require the verification of devices (detectors, fire extinguishers, pull stations, emergency lighting, exit signage, etc.) in individual offices, classrooms, and any other location in which these may be installed.
Testing of signalling devices (bells, horns, sirens, strobes) will be performed before 8:00am on the days noted. During this time, flashing of strobe lights will occur in buildings where installed. Personnel from Richardson Fire Systems to be performing all verification activities with support from Laurier's Facilities and Asset Management department.
