Empty Bowls 2020 Online Event

In the spirit of giving back to our community, RLAG, in collaboration with the Waterloo Potters’ Workshop, has served as a venue host for Empty Bowls for the past 11 years. This charitable fundraising initiative is designed to raise awareness of hunger in our local community with 100% of all proceeds going directly to The Food Bank of Waterloo Region.

Since 2011, Robert Langen Art Gallery (RLAG) has raised $42,395.00 which provides 127,185 meals for families in the Waterloo Region. In an effort to continue to support The Food Bank of Waterloo Region especially during this global pandemic, the idea of launching an Empty Bowls Online Event was born.

The Food Bank of Waterloo Region is working tirelessly to feed our community during COVID-19. Let's continue to help our neighbours in need.
