Dr. Wang holds a Ph.D. in Management (Strategy & Global Management) from the Haskayne School of Business, University of Calgary, and a Ph.D. in Economics from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
Her primary research lies at the intersection of corporate strategy, corporate governance, and strategic leadership. She examines how institutional investors, CEOs, and boards influence major strategic decisions, such as mergers and acquisitions (M&As), divestitures, and energy transition strategies.
She also studies entrepreneurial career trajectories and the internationalization strategies of Chinese multinational enterprises.
