Tim Sothern is an FCPA and senior accounting professional with more than 35 years of experience in assurance, financial management, and leadership development. He holds an MBA from the University of British Columbia and an Honours BBA from Wilfrid Laurier University.
He has extensive experience in case-based instruction, professional facilitation, and integrated accounting education, contributing to learning initiatives at Laurier, the University of Waterloo, and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario.
Tim is currently transitioning into university-level teaching with a focus on financial accounting, management accounting, auditing, and experiential case learning.
