Rima Khatib is an Assistant Professor in Business Technology Management at the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics, Wilfrid Laurier University. She is a passionate educator, with extensive cross-cultural experience in teaching, research, and academic services. Her research and teaching interests lie in the are management of information technology, information security, and cybersecurity.
Rima is an expert in information systems management, and information and cyber security management. Her research has examined organizational factors and individual perceptions that contribute to employee non-compliance with information security policies. Rima has shared her insights on cybersecurity incidents on media outlets, including CTV news and The Record.
Currently, Rima is researching cybersecurity awareness and privacy concerns related to embeddable technologies and .
