Kevin B. Hendricks received his PhD in Operations Management from Cornell University in 1990. He is currently a professor of operations and information technology in the School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University. Previously, Hendricks was a member of the faculty at the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, the Georgia Institute of Technology and the College of William and Mary and was a visiting professor at Cornell University.
He has published papers in top academic journals including Management Science, Operations Research, the Journal of Operations Management, IIE Transactions and POMS, and his work has been cited by over 50 practitioner publications including BusinessWeek, Purchasing, The International Herald Tribune, The Economist and CIO Magazine.
His current areas of interest include supply chain management, manufacturing planning and control systems, information technology, software development and empirical research on the impact of manufacturing strategy decisions such as capacity expansion, product development and total quality management on firm performance.
