My research centres on enhancing consumer welfare during consumption experiences with a specific focus on affective experiences. I have conducted and published research on consumer coping, experiences of negative consumption emotions in the context of interpersonal interactions, experiences of consumer (dis)empowerment and the adverse fall-out of consumer commitment. My research has been published in Journal of Retailing, International Journal of Research in Marketing, European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Service Management and other academic publications.
