I received my PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from I.K.G. Punjab Technical University, India, in 2018. Prior to joining Laurier in 2019, I worked as a Data Scientist at Elocity Technologies Inc. in Canada. From 2006 to 2018, I worked at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College in India.
My research interests are spatial data quality assessment, indoor-outdoor smart navigational systems, augmented-reality-based routing, big spatial data, spatial data science, AI for geographical text analysis, semantic segmentation, and Intelligent transportation systems (ITS) for eco-friendly navigation.
My research program offers a unique opportunity to design and implement advanced machine learning and deep learning models to enhance the analysis and interpretation of spatial data, contributing to the development of state-of-the-art intelligent routing systems.
