I am an interdisciplinary health researcher and evaluator. Before joining Laurier in June 2026, I was a postdoctoral scientist at the International Livestock Research Institute where I led impact assessments of health and development initiatives across Africa and Asia. I completed a science policy fellowship at the Public Health Agency of Canada and hold a PhD (Public Health), an MPH, and a BSc (Biochemistry) from the University of Guelph. I also hold the Credentialed Evaluator designation and have consulted for government, research, and development organizations for more than 10 years, while also teaching courses in health evaluation.
My work focuses on evaluating and improving solutions to complex health challenges, including zoonotic diseases, antimicrobial resistance, and climate change risks. I am particularly interested in interdisciplinary, One Health, and global health approaches to addressing these challenges, as well as in advancing the practice of research and evaluation. In collaboration with partners in Canada and internationally, I aim to generate evidence that strengthens programs, policies, and practice.
