Saiqa Aleem received a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Western Ontario, London, Canada 2016. Before joining, she worked as an Assistant Professor at Zayed University, U.A.E., from 2016 to 2022. She also worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Software Engineering at Thompson Rivers University, BC, from 2022 to 2024. She is also an adjunct assistant professor at Ontario Tech University in the School of Graduate and Post-Doctoral Studies. She is a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario, an IEEE senior member and a Research Council member of the Digital Research Alliance of Canada.
My research mainly focuses on software process improvement, intelligent development automation, and interactive technologies in robotics.
