I received my MSc in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo in 2008 and my BSc in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph in 2004.
Prior to teaching at Laurier, I was a research associate in Laurier's Biomechanics Laboratory (2008-2010), and a research assistant in the Ergonomics and Occupational Biomechanics Laboratory at the University of Waterloo.
My background and research interests lie in the area of biomechanics, particularly in postural control in aging population with a focus on footwear characteristics. Previous research areas include investigating upper extremity repetitive strain injury prevention through focusing on job rotation.
