I received my PhD in Geography from the University of Western Ontario in 2016 with an emphasis on GIS and cartography.
I was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Saskatchewan in 2020 contributing to research on an extreme weather event. I was also a Mitacs postdoctoral fellow with Esri Canada's higher education team in 2022 - 23 where I contributed to the building of a neighbourhood visualizer back in time to 1951. Most recently, I was a research associate with the SCERN project at Laurier from 2023 - 24 where I contributed to a community mapping project.
