Print | PDFLed by drummer/percussionist Dave O’Neill, this ensemble will explore the many elements of performing Jazz in a band setting; reading, ear training, harmony, melody, song forms and improvisation. No experience in the art of Jazz Improvisation is necessary, just a willingness to step outside of your musical comfort zone!
A basic level of theory (RCM Gr 2) and accompanying facility on the instrument is preferred. These ensembles are open to all instrumentalists and vocalists.
Each session is eight weeks long, 60-minute class.
Fee: $160. There is a three student minimum to run.
